Ryan's Priorities
I am running so that we can bring common sense leadership back into the Texas government, so that we can have someone in Austin standing up to special interests, rather than standing with them, and so that all citizens of district 96 know that someone will be in Austin to fight for more state funding for public education, to fight a more common sense government, and to fight for the least vulnerable in our society.

Public Education
Ryan has devoted the last six years to serving on his local school board and working to improve public education in House…

Property Taxes
Texas’s over reliance on property taxes to raise revenue and the constant intentional underfunding by the Texas Legislature…

Veterans and Military
As the son of a Vietnam veteran and a grandchild of World War II veterans, Ryan deeply honors those who have served.
Meet Ryan
As a school board member and tax attorney, Ryan has a unique perspective on school funding, and understands the burden property taxpayers are feelings because of failed leadership in Austin. Ryan has fought to ensure that students in his district receive the best education, while being accountable to taxpayers who pay for it. Unfortunately, Ryan hasn’t seen that same fight for public education and other issues affecting House District 96 from the current state representative.
